Membership Information

Membership in the Fond du Lac Yacht Club is by invitation only.  Two members are required to sponsor an individual.  If you are interested in becoming a member, seek out a current member and inquire.  The club is a non-profit 501(c)(7) social club governed by the rules of the IRS and the Federal Government.  We are a volunteer organization, which means all the work is provided by the members.  New members must put in 25 hours of volunteering their first year of probationary status.  After a year, the member is then voted into full membership. Afterwards, twelve hours of volunteering are required for all members 64 years of age or less.

Our club is based on boating and activities associated with boating on Lake Winnebago.  The club strives to foster safety education and to educate they youth of the community through their summer seamanship program.  The club offers numerous activities for its members to socialize and to become friends.  These activities can be found throughout this website.
